We'll be moving in to the neighborhood (near 59th and Vincent) soon, and I was wondering what you recommend for local pizza delivery. That's the only currency my movers are likely to accept.

I really enjoy Lake Harriet Pizza at 50th and Penn. Broder's there also does "arty" pizza.

If neither are open during the move, there's a Papa John's at Ewing and 50th.

Welcome to the neighborhood.

Actually a good one that is just outside the neighborhood is Beeks Pizza on Lyndale and 58th. Really good stuff.

Forget about Dominoes which is on Penn and 60th. Cardboard style.

Great, thanks for the tips. Have either of you tried that Michelangelo's Masterpizza's at 50th and Xerxes? At any rate, we're looking forward to experimenting with all of them.

Dominoes, blech! Wink

I was at Michaelangelo's a number of years ago and remember it being good.

Nope sorry I have not been to Michelangelo's . There are lots of good pizza places though. Try Fireside Pizza on Penn Ave in Richfield. They are good too.

We went with Michelangelo's in the end. Took a long time, but the buffalo chicken pizza was well worth it.
